Westwood State Conservency Area is a good day ride Westwood State Conservancy Area is a good day ride. The trail surrounds a large lake. It takes around two hours to circle the lake at an easy pace. JW Jones JW Jones Stables is located just south of Gosport on IN 67. This is a great place to get away. There are several electric sites and many primitive sites. The trails vary in intensity from beginner trails to very steep and exciting. JW recently purchased around 100 more acres, making his total spread about 700 acres. Red Hat Riders rock the trails of northern Indiana! The Red Hat Riders are a group of primarly northern Indiana horsewomen who, as their motto states, "just love to have fun". These ladies are easy to spot on the trails and in parades because they wear the traditional red hat and purple shirts of the International Red Hat Society. If you're a horsewoman and enjoy the company of other horsewomen who don't take themselves too seriously, this is the group for you!
