Here's a Trail Riding Tip. Have you ever gotten lost in the woods without a compass? Assuming it is daylight and not too cloudy, a watch (the traditional kind with hands) can be used to determine direction. With the hour hand pointed toward the sun, halfway between twelve and the hour hand is south. During daylight savings time, you must subtract one hour before aiming.
