The Cottonmouth is a new equine resort in Kentucky. Cost: The sites are $14.00 per night and the stalls are $4.00. Bobby said the stalls were real nice. They have wooden sides and a corral panel type gate. There is only one set of stables (26) and it is at one end of the camp. They have 40 sites. There is picketing in the trees. Don't know if bedding is supplied, but I would think so since the owner also owns a saw mill. Bobby says the bathhouse looked very nice. It is in the center of the camp basically. There is a huge lodge that looks kinda like the Big lodge at LBL where they have the restaurant. Bobby says it is about 6,000 sq feet including a large gathering room w/huge fireplace, 4 rooms with private baths (comparable to Holiday Inn) a raised dance floor. All floors are hardwood. Plus, there are some restaurants within 10 miles or so. There is a Grandma's Kitchen with is kind of a buffet (according to Bobby) and some others. The people that told us about it live in Madisonville and know the area. They said it was pretty much all woods, no mined areas. There is supposed to be alot of wild turkey in the woods That is all I know. Hope this helps.
