The Cottonmouth Resort 2,000 acres with an additional 1,500 acres accessible A beautiful log lodge w/four beautiful rooms (you could honeymoon here! In fact, the weekend we were there, there WAS a couple on their honeymoon...no kidding!), reasonably priced (sleeps 4), a snack bar w/good food, reasonably priced, nice stalls, nice campground (picture a smaller version of LBL, the campsites surround the bath-house which is a duplicate of LBL's). Lodge Phone: (270) 338-0909 Directions DIRECTIONS ARE BASED FROM NASHVILLE: Take I-24 northwest to exit 86 in Kentucky and turn right heading north on Route 41 to Hopkinsville and the Pennyrile Parkway north to exit 33 and turn right heading east into White Plains. Go approx. 3 miles into White Plains and turn right at flashing caution light & turn right onto Rt. 813 heading south. make another left & right turn while following Rt. 813 follow the 813 signs. 1.7 miles until you come to Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church. TURN LEFT on the road beside the church onto Mt. Carmel-Pond Road. 4.3 miles to Cottonmouth Lodge on right hand side.
